On Saturday 12th August a small memorial gathering of the village hall committee and Sally Halls was held at Spooner Row, Suton and Wattlefield Village Hall in memory of Julian Halls who passed away 18th July 2023. Sally Halls planted an ornamental Pear Tree on VH playing field and unveiled a plaque on the green bench beside the book exchange in memory of her late husband, She was then presented with a personal gift of a yellow rose which was significant as it was Julian’s colour.
