Photos - Official opening of Village Hall kitchen

Well it appears that not one member of the public turned up for this ..the official opening ! Its all village hall trustees, their partners and several bottles of wine.

I think you may have made an incorrect assumption; I asked Andy to include in his photos for this website, no members of the public (unless they were aware) or just members of the village hall committee, so the photos do not necessarily represent attendees at the opening evening.

last post came across as having a dig. The person that posted this clearly has a major problem with the village hall, or people that represent it.

Unfortunately we have a sad person in the village who takes great pleasure in having a swipe at the Village Hall and the committee!! We send out a monthly update so the people of Spooner Row , Suton & Wattlefield can see what we are up to and what improvements we are making.The pictures were taken at the start of evening !

Is this the Andy who is also the Chairman of the Village Hall and a trustee of this registered charity, if so, how much money was spent on this event? It is charity money after all or is this an idiotic question?

As a resident, I think Andy has done an excellent job of taking the village hall forward. Any charity whose purpose it is to support the community will put on events such as social evenings, fetes, etc on its premises, this clearly is an example of this. All residents of Spooner Row, Suton and Wattlefield were invited to this social event to celebrate the opening of the new kitchen facility and an opportunity to meet and chat with other local people. I think your question is idiotic. What are you doing for the local community?

Yes I am that Andy who is chairman of The Village Hall Committee and trustee and proud of it . I am happy to discuss any issues you have regarding the VH if only I new who you are !!
