They can be reached on 0344 800 8013 (free call) It is a 24 hour help line which may get busy.
Why? We need to log all of the incidents of flooding in the Spooner Row, Suton and Wattlefield area so that we can get help to stop it happening in the future.
The Community Council is arranging empty sand bags and sand for residents to help themselves to.
Please check your drains and culverts when they have drained. They are the responsibility of the land owner, removing rubbish, vegetation and silt will have a positive effect for everyone. This is a whole community responsibility to allow water to run freely and escape. Consider your neighbours, they may need help.
The Community Council is working with agencies to develop a longer term plan and learn from this flooding and appreciate your help by reporting if your property was flooded.
