They have to provide an audit for transparency for the local community.
I am worried about item 2025/051 on the Agenda, the devolution of councils. Is this going to be a merger for a type of unitary council remote from the community and where we will have very little say and less representation? It has been decided from high up that the Norfolk Council Council elections for this year are not going to be held. Were we asked? We really do need to keep our Spooner Row Community Council for grass-roots engagement and representation.
Back under Wymondham is the last thing we want. High Town rates with our money spent on the town and very little in Spooner Row and even less interest in us. Wymondham is likely to be devolved with the changes.
Why is there no transparency with our community council? There always seem to be items on the agenda each month for discussion ,do they get discussed and if so why are there no answers? The minutes are poor at best ( if they are printed)
(Dear Anon,
All SRCC's minutes and agendas are printed on its website at https://spoonerrow-cc.gov.uk/meetings/ Minutes are added once they have been approved at the following monthly council meeting. Each agenda item is listed with a reference number which is followed through into the minutes for reference and transparency.

At the last meeting in January, there were three people (councillors) there.
Maybe that is an answer to your question.
Three councillors and a substantial agenda to work through - well done to them. There are only five of them anyway and a clerk that would have to carry the extra workload. It's a shame that so many good councillors have left over the last few years.
Lots of items deffered at Februarys meeting. Nothing much happening because of investigation , which is looking a bit iffy now. How much of our tax payers money will be wasted I wonder!!
