thanks for this  Very helpful

South Norfolk had forgotten about us , thinking we are still part of Wymondham. I have sent some very short and sharp e mails on this, as only found yesterday from WTC by accident

Community council meeting on a conference call tonight to discuss further and next stages

Just taken a call saying do not forget to wash hands after taking in the bin BEFORE you do anything else. A sensible precaution and not a comment on the bin men. Ultra violet light kills the virus very quickly but any deliveries and shopping items could potentially be carrying the virus so keep washing those hands.

According to the Gov.uk website Covid-19 map, currently Wymondham and Spooner Row have the highest Coronavirus incidences in Norfolk (along with Gorleston).  It is in the purple zone (400 +). You can view this information by zooming in on the interactive map; https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/interactive-map/cases    (map last updated 16 Nov 2020)

RE: COVID-19 Information, Christmas bubbles

Christmas bubbles It is already apparent that people are confused and from what I am hearing have plans afoot to basically attempt to circumvent the rules AND so spread the virus .....so this from the Gov uk website Between 23 and 27 December:

you can form an EXCLUSIVE ‘Christmas bubble’ composed of people from no more than three households. Note the dates !

you can only be in one BUBBLE and CANNOT change it

you can travel to be in your bubble and you can ONLY meet in private homes, your garden, places of worship, or public outdoor spaces

you can continue to meet people who are not in your Christmas bubble outside your home according to the rules in the tier where you are staying

you CANNOT meet someone in a private dwelling who is not part of your household or Christmas bubble

Please do not break the rules and have no doubt these are going to involve you in making difficult choices as to who you see. VERY difficult

Just a reminder that you can view the Gov.UK interactive map for the latest data on Covid-19 rates. Zoom in to see the localised data. Spooner Row is currently in the purple zone (400-799 cases) https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/interactive-map/cases

Other data is available on the Gov.UK website which is updated daily.

Although most COVID restrictions have been removed in England, the case rates in this area have risen (now in the purple zone). See latest on Gov.UK's map  https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/interactive-map/cases

Good news, according to the GOV.UK map on COVID cases, Spooner Row (and the surrounding area) is now in the "blue" category showing a reduction in cases. This is the first time in months that we are out of the black and purple zones. See interactive map https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/interactive-map/cases

As the COVID-19 case numbers continue to decrease, this thread will no longer remain at the top of the message board.

Currently, the official UK Government website still provides a summary of the data for England, and this information can be viewed at:

Local and national data: https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/

Interactive map of cases: https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/interactive-map/cases
