Stop The Split
(Preview)
I have just returned to SR after a few months and to my horror I discovered that their is a proposal to split up our Parish. This is worse than Brexit. I do not want our Parish broken up and I hope that this proposal can be stopped.

Information on grants given to Spooner Row

Several anonymous posters have commented with regard to grants being given to Spooner Row by Wymondham Town Council and that such grants will be lost under the new council. Dog fouling, again!
(Preview)
So sad that wherever we walk in the village we see garden verges and road verges covered in dog faeces. It really isn't difficult to carry a couple of polythene bags and clean up after your dog rather than leave it for the householder to have to remove before they can mow their verge or worse, not see it an...

I sat in my lounge, no tv, no radio, nothing, all I could hear was the wind blowing and bird noises, no train horns, no vibration of HGVs, no fast cars, it was tranquility. I woke up today with all the noise back again, did I dream it all ? I want snow all year round.

Sad News About Our Parish

I am very sad to hear that our Village and the other settlements within the whole Parish of Wymondham are to be split up. We should be building bridges and not creating a situation where we will be cut off from the rest of Wymondham. It will only create divisions with our community and most of the funds rai...
